IMPACT Go 17 NG
Please note that this article is intended to be used by Google Play Testers!
Description of some of the features that IMPACT Go 17 NG offers.
Please note that some basic configurations needed for IMPACT Go 17 NG are created using another application i.e. IMPACT Resource Manager.
For the test we have already configured it.
Test Instructions
1. App is launched for the first time, please allow the required permissions (camera and storage/photo), see images below.
2. insert "https://release-webapi-17.azurewebsites.net" and proceed
3. then provide the above username and password for the Auth0 authentication
4. if successful, press OK to select the preselected user "googleplay" and continue
5. press OK to select the preselected company
6. app will connect to our remote server/service and you will be on the main page
Note that there is a test project called: HOTEL1
Required Permissions
1. THE USER MUST GIVE CAMERA PERMISSION TO MAKE QR CODE SCANNING WORK
2. THE USER MUST ALLOW ACCESS TO PICTURES, RECORDS AND VIDEOS (ANDROID < 13) IN ORDER TO PICK PICTURES FROM LOCAL STORAGE
QR scan login URLs (from Server Connect)
For users who use the IMPACT Server Connect, start it, Press the menu Connections/Generate QR Code for IMPACT Go Login and then scan it.
Otherwise just type the following URL and follow instructions.

QR scan element/cast/stack/transport
Here we show how to scan a cast QR Code.
Start IMPACT Go 17 NG, press the scan button, scan the cast QR Code and then cast along with its elements are shown, see the figure below.
There are other QR codes for element, stack, transport and storage that can be scanned.
Instead of QR can we can search for an element, cast, stack and transport.
The figures below show to search for case.
Search for elements
Here is how to search for an element using the search button.
Start the app, press the search button, select the ELEMENT tab, select a factory, project, element id and then press the Search button, see the figures below.
Add/edit element controls
QR scan element/cast/stack/transport, select an element and press the element properties button .
Press the Element Control button (the blue one) and that takes you to the Element Control page.
Press the Add button and then in the popup window check the controls you wish to have and then press Add in the popup windows.
After adding controls you can navigate to control parameters to check.
In the Element control page you can check the controls and Save changes.
Create/edit disorders
Search for a cast as shown above, select an element and press the element properties button to show the Properties page.
Press the Issues button as shown in the figure below.
In the issues page select the DISORDER tab, press the button to create a new disorder.
Fill the needed fields in the Disorder page and then press Create.
A disorder is added to the current element. By clicking the disorder line you can update the existing disorder, see the figures below.
Reject the element
1. Find a cast as described above "Search for a cast using the search function" or by scanning a cast QR Code
2. Select an element and the element properties button
3. Select the REJECTION tab and press the reject button at the right button corner , fill the Rejection page and press Reject
4. When coming back to the main page you can see the Rejected stamp on the element as shown in the figure below.
Change the element status
1. Find a transport with elements inside for example by scanning a transport QR Code
2. After scanning the Transport QR Code select an element and then press the element properties button see the figure below
3. In the element properties page press the Set Status button, see the figure below
4. In the Set Status page, select the a status and then press the button Set, see the figure below
5. Now when you go back you can see the new status, see the figure below.
Add a note to the element
Here an example of how to create/edit element notes.
Search for a cast as shown above, select an element, press the element properties button .
That takes you to the Properties page. Press the Edit button and that takes you to the Edit page. Edit the note fields and then press the Save button.
Transport Check
1. Search for a transport, press the transport properties button, press Transport Check button (the blue one) that will take you to the , see below.
2. In Transport Check page, scan a transport label QR Code and if there is a match a green rectangle is shown next to the scanned element in the list.
