Slab connections

“Fixing details” for solid slab endcaps have been replaced by “Connections” in version 16.

“Templates” for the connections are created and stored in the definitions, a connection can consist of a 4-sided recess with an optional reinforcement file attached to it and an optional single cast-in material. A definition can store multiple connections and there’s a possibility to export all connections to another definition.

The “Export…” function will remove all existing connections in the destination definition and add all from the source definition.

To create a connection with a reinforcement bar start by drawing the reinforcement bar on a shop drawing and set it’s placing depth and then use the button “Select reinforcement” for adding it to the connection. The reinforcement bar is stored as a separate dwg file in the folder “reinforcement” at common/local/project level depending on the level of the definition.

“Connections” can be added to multiple elements on the floor plan or to the single element on the shop drawing.
