Core Filling

Sometimes, the end of a Hollow Core needs to be strengthened. This can be because e.g. a recess is placed in the end and weakens the element.

Cores number 2 and 7 (1 in figure 1 ) needs to be filled since cores 3 and 6 are cut (2 in figure 1) by the recess. 

Draw Core Filling

Start with launching the command Draw Core Filling.

The specified area will define which cores that can be filled. All cores that should be filled must be completely inside the "box"

Select the Hollow Core which the fillings should be added to.

When the Core Fillings dialog appears, all the cores that were inside the "box" will be shown. Start with deleting the cores that should not have the filling.

  1. Core number
  2. Start at - relative to the insertion point of the Hollow Core
  3. Lenght
  4. Visible on floor plan
  5. Visible on shop drawing
  6. Dimension - should the core filling be dimensioned on the shop drawing

Edit Core Filling

Start with launching the command Edit Core Filling.

Possible to move and MTO core fillings connected to lifts and manually added core fillings on shop drawings for Hollow cores.
