Insert Lift

Many factories do not insert lifts in Hollow Cores unless they are cut. This tool insert lifts to specific Hollow Cores, e.g. those that are cut.

Start with launching the command Insert Lift.

The next step is to select Hollow Cores in which the lifts are going to be inserted in. 

After selecting the Hollow Cores, the Insert Lift dialog will appear.

1. Lift type - one can decide what lift type that is going to be inserted. Note: Only lift types specified in the definition of the Hollow Core will be available to select
2. Name - one can decide what lift that is going to be inserted. Note: Only lift specified in the definition of the Hollow Core will be available to select
3. Dimension type - how the lifts will be dimensioned on the shop drawing
4. Location of lifts - the user will specify which core the lift is going to be placed in, and also the distance from the edge 
5. Core fillings - the user will specify the length of the core fillings, in what drawings they will be visible and also if they are going to be dimensioned on the shop drawing

(New in Q4/2021) If the command is run again a question will appear if the previously added lift items should be removed or not.
