Parametric endcap for Sandwich and Insulated walls
To provide more flexibility and enabling better reusability and efficiency across similar wall elements, it is now possible to create parametric endcaps for Sandwich and Insulated walls.
There is also a new option added in Endcap definitions when creating a new endcap - user can now activate the 'Parametric endcap'.

Figure 1 - Activating the creation of new Parametric endcap from Endcap definitions
When creating a new parametric endcap for Sandwich or Insulated walls, the program utilizes the 'IMPACT Parametric template.rft', meaning that the template includes all the necessary predefined reference planes required for IMPACT compatibility.

Figure 2 - Predefined references planes necessary for creating Parametric endcap
When creating the Parametric endcap the following parameters are hardcoded:
- Host Thickness
- Host Layer 1 Thickness
- Host layer 2 Thickness
The other parameters added by user are editable.

The parameter type for the user added dimensions should be 'Family parameter'. Also, in parameter data should the parameter be set to 'Instance'.

The parameters can be seen in the Family types dialogue window as well. The same dialogue window can be used to change the values of the user added parameters. The new values will be reflected in Reference level.

Once the parameters are configured, the parametric endcap can be created from the 'Parametric dialogue window'. The parametric endcap is created like the other normal endcaps - picking the geometry, layer boundary etc.
To finish creating the parametric endcap, the reference level should be closed and the parametric endcap will be shown in the endcap definitions list.

The parametric endcap can be inserted in the corresponding wall type - in the next example, in a Sandwich wall.

The user added parameters values of the parametric endcap can be modified while editing the wall by pressing the three dots next to the parametric endcap.
