Copy/Move Element

Copy/Move Element is a function, which was developed in IMPACT Revit to ease the element design process. Currently, the Copy/Move Element function is available for all types of walls, beams and columns. 

Copy/Move Element function provides four options: Copy Elements, Copy to Level, Move Elements, Move to Level.

Copy Elements: Copy Elements command can be performed by using Pick points or by specifying X Offset and Y Offset measurements.

Copy to Level:   Copy Elements to the different levels in the project. Copy Level can also be paired with Offset option.

Move Elements: Move Elements command can be performed by using Pick points or by specifying X Offset and Y Offset measurements.

Move to Level:    Move Elements to different levels in the project. Move to Level can also be paired with Offset option.

To Copy/Move Element:

1.The first step is to go to IMPACT view and in the Tools menu select Copy/Move Element command.

2.The second step is to select the elements on which the user wants the command to be applied. It is possible to make multiple selection of the wished elements to be moved or copied. 

After the elements are selected, choose the desired command from the Options section.

3.After the function is specified press Ok button to finalize the command.
