Draw Form slab
When using the Draw Form Slab function in Impact Revit you have three options from which you can choose in order to create your element - Pick Floor, Pick Model Lines, Draw Rectangle, Pick Point in Closed Area and by Pick points. Try out the new option which allows snapping when drawing Form slab by Draw Rectangle command. All these functions can be found in IMPACT view under the Slab falling menu.

Draw by Pick Floor
1. The first step of creating a Form slab by Pick Floor option is to draw a Structural Floor.

2. After the floor is drawn go to IMPACT view and under Draw Slab falling menu select Draw Form Slab command. In the Form Slab window press on Form Slab definition and from the falling menu select the one, which you want to work with.

3. Press on Select Boundary, choose Pick Floor option and then select the previously made Structural Floor to insert the slabs.
Draw by Model Lines
1. The first step of creating Form slab by Pick Model Lines is to create Model Lines. Any shape or form can be created with this option.

2. After the model lines are drawn go to IMPACT view and under Draw Slab falling menu select Draw Form Slab command. In the Form Slab window press on Form Slab definition and from the falling menu select the one, which you want to work with.

4. Press on Select Boundary, choose Pick Model Lines option and then select the previously made model lines to insert the slabs.
Draw by Draw Rectangle
By using this function you can try out our new option of snapping when drawing Floor slabs by Draw Rectangle. When using this command you have more than one option how to draw your element. It can be done by making a rectangle with a model line, walls or simple just by picking two points.
1. The first step of creating Form slab by Draw Rectangle is to go to the IMPACT view and under Draw Slab falling menu select Draw Form Slab command.
. In the Form Slab window press on Form Slab definition and from the falling menu select the one which you want to work with.

3. Press on Select Boundary, choose Draw Rectangle option and then by using the new snapping feature pick the first corner point and then the second one and press Okay.
Draw by Pick Point in Closed Area
By using this function you can try out our new option of drawing Form Slab by picking a point in a closed area. When the user creates a project where walls form a closed area, they can now use this new feature to insert a Form Slab by simply picking a point.
1. The first step of creating a Form slab by Pick point in a closed area is to create a closed area using Draw Wall command. Any closed area created by drawing walls is recognized by the software.

2. After the walls are drawn go to IMPACT view and under Draw Slab falling menu select Draw Form Slab command. In the Form Slab window press on Form Slab definition and from the falling menu select the one, which you want to work with.

3. Press on Select Boundary, choose Pick Point in Closed area option and then pick a point in the closed area formed by walls. Press OK and Slabs will be inserted.
Draw by Pick Points
By using this function you can try out our new option of drawing Form Slab by pick points. Pick points option allows the user to create any shapes for designing Form Slabs in IMPACT Revit.
1. The first step of creating Form slab by Draw Rectangle is to go to the IMPACT view and under Draw Slab falling menu select Draw Form Slab command.
2. In the Form Slab window press on Form Slab definition and from the falling menu select the one, which you want to work with.
3. Press on Select Boundary, choose Pick Points option and then begin to draw the Form slab. Press OK and Slabs will be inserted.
Edge settings
By using this function you can try out our new functionality for applying a predefined edge setting to each edge of your drawn form slab.
It is possible to select different chamfer for each of your slab edges or apply one setting to all of the edges by using the "Copy to All" function.
