Edit Stair

Edit Stair command can be used for stair assemblies, i.e. Revit stair elements that are drawn via Revit command and saved as Linked elements in IMPACT database.

IMPACT converts the Revit stair element into a direct shape while saving as a Linked element. Once the Revi stair element is saved as Linked in the IMPACT database, it becomes assembly. If the user wants to edit some parameters of the Revit stair element, the Edit Stair command must be used in order to preview the Revit stair element parameters, which are hidden from the user in the Revit assembly.

Important: Notice, that IMPACT supports only Revit stair elements, drawn by Revit stair tools, but not supports user-created stair families.

Workflow

In order to edit a stair in IMPACT Revit follow the workflow:

  • Step 1:  Draw stair via Revit command. Go to Architecture tab - Circulation section - Stair. It is possible to draw Assembled, Cast-In Place or Precast stair.
