IMPACT Element parameters
IMPACT Designation Prefix
IMPACT Designation Prefix is a family parameter that defines a prefix used in IMPACT Element Designation value.
Add IMPACT Designation Prefix parameter to all element types that are families in IMPACT Revit: Columns, Beams, Prestressed Beams and Hollow Cores.
IMPACT Designation is a value that is formed by the following formula:
IMPACT Designation prefix for current element + the element width in cm + “/” + the element height in cm.
For example WP 20/ 240
Column, Beam & Hollow core
Add IMPACT Designation Prefix parameter to the Column, Beam or Hollow core family. It must be a Family Type parameter, shown under Data. See the picture below, where parameter settings are displayed.

Wall, Slab & Form Slab
Element types that are definitions in the IMPACT database - Wall, Slab and Form Slab, have a field in the definition called Prefix Designation. This field is used instead of a parameter in order to define the Designation prefix.
