IMPACT CIM Face parameter

IMPACT CIM Face parameter is an instance parameter added to CIM families, used to overwrite project settings for CIM Face Reference Text. 

The first step is to open the CIM family and add text to the IMPACT CIM Face parameter.

Close the family and load it in the project. If the CIM family is already loaded in the project, the user might need to remove it and load it again.

When the CIM is loaded correct, the CIM dimension line in the shop drawing will have the same text value as the user has written in the IMPACT CIM Face parameter. Although the CIM is placed in Face 1, the dimension line text will not show side 1 as set in the project settings for CIM Face Reference Text, but the text value that the user has given in the IMPACT CIM Face parameter.
