3D view in Sandwich Wall - Panel visibility
3D views in the shop drawing are an excellent tool for visualizing a complex geometry of a precast element like a Sandwich Wall. There is a possibility in IMPACT not only for displaying the Sandwich wall in a 3D view, but also choosing which one of the Sandwich wall panels to display in the 3D view.
Add 3D view to the shop drawing
Adding a 3D view to the shop drawing is described in Setting up a shop drawing template IMPACT Wiki article.
In order to see a single Sandwich wall panel in the 3D view, remember to make the following Parts Visibility settings in the Shop drawing template.
Choose Show Parts under Value as shown in the picture below.

Once the 3D view is added, the user can see the view in IMPACT shop drawing settings.
Under Views tab, select the 3D View and then choose between the three options under Panel Visibility: Inner panel, Outer panel or All.
By choosing All, a full 3D view of the element will be visible in the shop drawing.
By choosing Inner panel, only the inner panel of the Sandwich wall will be previewed in the shop drawing.
By choosing Outer panel, only the outer panel of the Sandwich wall will be previewed in the shop drawing.
