It's now possible to add element controls for elements on transport

The element control system has been expanded to also cover elements placed on transports.

This enhancement is implemented by introducing a new control type called “Transport – Element”, ensuring that it does not interfere with the existing “Cast – Element” control type.

A new status type, “Approved for Delivery – Element,” has been added and is exclusively used for the “Transport – Element” control type.

When different control types are present in the system, they will be clearly separated in the notes, as shown in the figure below.

Once a control has been created in the system, it can be added to elements on a transport. This is done directly in the Transport module and follows the same rules and processes as element control for elements on a cast unit.

Additional details about the rules and processes can be found here.

Furthermore, has a "Controls Column" been added in both the Planning view in RM and the Element ID Grid in PM.

It is possible to enable a setting that controls whether the transport status can be set to “On Waybill” or “Delivered” when one or more elements have unapproved element controls. This setting can be found in RM.

When this setting is enabled, a warning will appear when the transport status is changed. The warning provides an overview of the reason for the restriction.
