Erection planning export and import
Erection planning export and import functions can be used to share erection planning data among project members. Erection planning is connected to:
- Erection sequence
- Planned erection date
- Erection date
Erection planning export
When the erection has been sequenced and planned, this data can be exported. Data may be exported in four levels:
- Model level
- Building level
- Floor level
- Element type level
For each level, right-clicking invokes the export planning.
When you click this, the planning for all elements contained in the chosen level will be exported.
You may now choose the location where you want to save your planning data. File type may also be chosen, the Json and Xml file formats are human-readable and a wise choice if you want to read the exported file manually. The bin format is space saving.
The file is readable in notepad. The file contains the planning data for each element, however, we are mainly concerned with the two marked in bold.
- Guid
- Status
- ErectionSequenceNo
- PlannedDrawingDate
- PlannedProductionDate
- PlannedStorageDate
- PlannedDeliveryDate
- PlannedErectionDate
- ProductionDate
- DeliveryDate
- Factory
- Division
The user needs to note that all of these values are exported and may possibly overwrite the information at the import destination.
Erection planning import
Erection planning import is carried out by going to the main menu of IMPACT Project Manager:
Click Plannings and select the file with updated planning.
Click Perform to import planning data. The Log may be saved by clicking Save Log. This is useful for import verification. Furthermore, elements that have been cast planned and transport planned at the import location before import will not be updated.
