New variables for showing reinforcement bars in groups, and controlling group weight on reinforcement reports

Intro

This feature allows the users to customize Reinforcement reports to include quantities of bars and stirrups within reinforcement Groups, without having MTO on these. If MTO is on, it instead filters out the weight of the reinforcement group itself.

Reports that are affected by the feature

  • Reinforcement specification (10)
  • Reinforcement summary (41)
  • Reinforcement bending Schedule (13)
  • Reinforcement bending Schedule Summary (14)
  • Reinforcement bending Schedule Summary pr Element (16)

Implementation

There is a new setting in the report tool in "Setting properties" called Include MTO. If the setting is set to "NO" the reports are printed as usual. If the setting is set to "YES", the following happens.

  • The mass on reinforcement groups is set to zero.
  • If the variable “Group MTO Parts” in the standard admin is set to zero, the individual parts for the groups are added to the report.
In the Reinforcement Bending reports where the groups normally are not printed, parts are also included.

It is possible to change/set the “Include MTO” and print the reports without restarting Report Tool before it affects the printed report.

In The IMPACT Standard Admin, the following Variables must be setup.

  • Group_MTO_Parts
  • Group_Barmark_Straight_bars

Example

With setting set to "NO", a standard reinforcement group is shown in the report as follows:

A1 Mass = XXkg

With setting set to "YES", a standard reinforcement group is shown in the report as follows:

A1 Mass = 0kg

A1/1000 Mass = XXkg - Straight bars

A1/530*60 Mass = XXkg - Stirrups

- Where the mass of the number of parts in the reinforcement group amounts to the total mass of the reinforcement group.
