BRACEEDGEDISTANCEDOUBLEWALL

The minimum edge distance from a hole, default 150 mm.

If there is an opening placed so it interrupts with the bracing, the bracing will move the value defined in the variable.

If the bracing is closer to the left edge it will move to the left and vice versa.

The variable “BRACECOLUMNWIDTHDOUBLEWALL” also needs to be taken into consideration. The variable is set to 500 mm in this example. If it would be greater than the value in the examples (600 & 700) the bracing would be placed in the middle between the window and the doublewall edge.

Example of the IMPACT default setting:

VariableTypeValue
BRACEEDGEDISTANCEDOUBLEWALL0150

In the first picture, the window is drawn but not added yet and in the second one the bracing is moved as the window is added. The bracing is moved to the left as it is closer to that side.

Example with a user default setting:

VariableTypeValue
BRACEEDGEDISTANCEDOUBLEWALL0200

In the first picture, the window is drawn but not added yet and in the second one the bracing is moved as the window is added. The bracing is moved to the right as it is closer to that side.
