GROUP_FROZEN_COLOR_RGB

The variable GROUP_FROZEN_COLOR_RGB shows a freezed reinforcement group by changing the color of it.

In this case, a light blue color is chosen for a frozen reinforcement group.

Both RGB color codes can be used and the numbers are then separated with a semicolon and also single color index (1-255).

With the variable on it will take on any color that we define, without it, the reinforcement group will take on the color that is defined in the layer standard for each element type. Example, a reinforcement group that is being frozen in a sandwich wall in StruSofts standard will have the layer SW_E_RC_GROUP_FROZEN. That layer will be copied from the layer SW_E_RC_GROUP and will take on the color from it if the variable is not set. In this example the color that would be copied from SW_E_RC_GROUP to SW_E_RC_GROUP_FROZEN would have been color 3 which is green. That is the "default" color.

Note: The "Layer Standards" have 2 nodes under in this case, IMPACT & Standard. In project properties, the user can see which layer standard is used and it can also be changed here.

With the variable active and for example color 5 (blue) selected, the frozen reinforcement group will take on that color and not take the color from SW_E_RC_GROUP. If we would have removed the variable the reinforcement group would still be the same color as before freezing it. This is one of the reasons why both the RGB and a color code can be used in the variable.

The colors 1-255 are standard AutoCAD colors as seen below.

Blue color due to the variable being active with the number 5.

Another usage of the AutoCAD colors is that the reinforcement group can be blue as in the example above in the drawing, but still another color when plotting. The user could want the reinforcement group to be black for example when plotted. In the GIF below, the color 5 is changed so it will show a red color when plotting the reinforcement group.
