OVERRIDE_CIM_RC
The reinforcement location and the text connected to a cast in material can be saved and not redrawn every time. This is to make it possible to make adjustments for each case.
Example of the IMPACT default setting:
Variable | Type | Value |
---|---|---|
OVERRIDE_CIM_RC | 0 | 0 |
Some scenarios will follow to explain more in detail how this function works.
Scenario one: Move reinforcement text
Scenario two: Delete one reinforcement bar
Scenario three: Move the lifts 10 mm after editing CIM text
If a bar that is present in the reinforcement that is connected in the definition is removed (erased) it will be added again.
Note, you can’t copy reinforcement from other CIM:s, it shall be from the same that you like to have them connected to. If you copy the bars connected to another CIM it will follow that CIMs pattern. If the reinforcement for that CIM is removed it will also be removed for the other CIM.
Scenario three: Move the lifts 300 mm after editing CIM text
Scenario four: Change a reinforcement bar
Example with a user default setting:
Variable | Type | Value |
---|---|---|
OVERRIDE_CIM_RC | 0 | 1 |
If you like to make it possible to change a reinforcement bar to something else then in the definition for each case this variable needs to be turned on.
For this feature to work, you need to edit the bar drawn from the definition instead of removing and draw a new bar. If you need more bars and like to have them connected to the CIM, you can also copy existing bars and they will automatically be connected to the CIM.
With the variable on, scenario four is changed (change a reinforcement bar).
