This section covers the installation, set up and licensing of the IMPACT software. 

Client installation

IMPACTs client applications are available in a tool called StruSoft installer. StruSoft installer is a common platform for distributing applications from StruSoft. To filter out apps related to IMPACT click on the tab that is highlighted in the image below.

IMPACT for AutoCAD and impact for Revit are plug-ins for each program and are dependent on the version. Therefore, we have different versions to match each version of AutoCAD and Revit that we support. Make sure you choose the right from the list.

Add license sources

Most of our applications require a license to be used and therefore it's necessary to define the source of your license. Most common is to have a license server that's being referenced from every client but we also provide single local licenses that require activation through StruSoft installer. The set up is done in StruSoft installer but license servers could also be manually referenced by adding a registry key.
