When the modeling of an element is finished, the last step is to create shop drawings for it. We are going to create drawings for the sandwich walls on level 1.

Go to IMPACT - Drawings - Create Shop Drawings to start the command.

Select the template 'Sandwich' from Common.

End with 'Finish'.

The shop drawings are now generating. It'll take a couple of minutes for the drawings to be created. (Now will be a good time for a cup of coffee, while IMPACT is doing the work for you.) - Remember that IMPACT is now creating the drawings for all sandwich panels for the whole floor. So these few minutes will save you hours if not days of work.

You can follow along with the status at the bottom left of your screen

When the drawings are created, the dialog for open shop drawings appears. On the left side, the drawings are listed (1) and on the right side, all the sheets are listed (2).

There are four sheets prepared for the sandwich drawings. Open all four sheets for one of the elements.

The sheets are divided as follows.

First, we find the main drawing where formwork and components are shown and dimensioned.

The second one is a 3D drawing. It comes with one 3D view as default, as well as endcap details. The 3D sheet is prepared to be used with the 3D details in IMPACT. This will be explained in a few steps.

The third and fourth sheets are prepared for the reinforcement. They are identical, but with the difference that the third sheet is for inner panel and the fourth one is for the outer panel.

Continue to create the drawings for the other element types from the model. Do the same steps as above, with the difference that you change the templates according to what element type you are creating the drawings for.
