Precast Modules

StruSoft offer many different modules for different precast elements. Each module enables a set of features that enables modeling of different precast elements in AutoCAD. The tools in the drawing information in AutoCAD to the Impact BIM system. Thus, every part of a element is saved and accounted for in the database. For elements which is not directly supported by our modules, there is another way of integrating arbitrary elements into the system. This is via the Linked element modules, where any kind of element can have a representation in the Impact modeling and production system. It is common that users produce other elements at their factories and want to include them to in the Cast planner even tough the Design part of Impact does not support it.

Components

A component called Components is included. This handles components attached to the element, such as Cast in Materials or and Holes. Although a hole is not a physical component, once can say that the hole information is a component of the element. Such is true for other components, such as corbels, doors and windows. All components can be created and defined by the user/company and assigned to a standard. This way, all users connected to the database can use a common pool of components. With the introduction of cloud services, it is possible for all users to obtain the latest version of the standard by synchronizing it to and from a central server.

Reinforcement

Reinforcement is unlike all other modules a standalone module. It does not require either the Impact BIM system or Precast modules to work. This module save all information in the drawing and not a central database. It is however possible to have a common file which users can share where information about standard shape codes and such can exist. Go here to know more about Reinforcement. Being standalone does not mean that other modules does not included tools to model reinforcement. Precast modules included reinforcement tools where most of them are taken directly from Reinforcement. Many users may still prefer to have Reinforcement alongside the Precast modules for the extra functionality it yields.
