Draw Wall

To be able to draw a wall, a wall definition needs to be created first.

Start with launching the command Draw Wall.

Now, one needs to select which wall type (Solid Wall, Insulated Wall or Sandwich Wall) to draw.

Start to draw the wall by clicking on the start point of the wall.

When one has started to draw the wall, some alternatives appear in the command prompt:

1. Left, 2. Center, 3. Right

According to what point the wall should be drawn

4. Rotate

Sometimes, one wants to rotate a Wall change the direction and insertion point for it.

5. Shape

One can draw walls with four different shapes:

  1. Rectangular wall

  2. Trapezoid wall, angle

  3. Trapezoid wall, heights

  4. Gable wall
    s4.png
     

The box in the lower left is properties for shapes of the corners of the wall.

6. Gap

One can specify gaps between the walls.

7. Properties

When drawing the wall, one can go to the properties of the wall and change e.g. definition of the wall.

Continue or end the command

When clicking on the end point of the wall, one can either continue drawing another wall or end the command with ESC, Enter and Space.
