Fixed Number setting for rebars in Reinforcement in Endcaps

Introduction

As we already know, in IMPACT for Revit, it is possible to create an endcap with reinforcement.

In previous versions, it was possible to pick the reinforcement for an endcap only when the rebars were drawn as "Single". This was time consuming to draw each rebar and then pick each rebar when defining the reinforcement.

We added a new feature in IMPACT for Revit, which gives the possibility to pick the reinforcement for endcaps when the rebars drawn as "Fixed number".

Example

In this example we will create an endcap definition with reinforcement. As we can see in figure 2, the vertical rebars are drawn as "Fixed numbers".

It is enough to select only one rebar from the ones drawn as "Fixed number" and the program will automatically pick and show the rest of the rebars in the "Reinforcement" tab from Endcap definition.
