Outer 1/3 of lift distance

In IMPACT 17 for Revit, we introduce a new automatic method of inserting lift points in oversized Form slab. It is now possible to insert extra lifts that are placed 1/3 of the lift distance between the first lift points and maximum edge distance for the first lift points of 1250 mm.

The new automatic method of inserting lift points in oversized Form slab is configured in Form slab definition under the Lift tab. 

The extra lift points for oversized Form slabs will always be placed inside the distance between the normal lift points.

Below we are highlighting some examples of inserting extra lift points with the new method in oversized Form slabs with different shape and size. 

Note: When the form slab is configured with support length, then the maximum edge distance will also include the support length.
