Control the element face description of CIMs when the view is rotated

Introduction

There are situations when the column view is rotated in Shop drawing and the designers want to describe the face where the CIMs are inserted as the actual placement in Shop drawing and not as the face of the element where the CIMs are inserted in model.

It is now possible to control the element face description of CIMs in Shop drawing when the view is rotated, by configuring the variable "ANNOTATIONBYMOULDSIDECOLUMN" in IMPACT Standard Admin.

How it works

There are two values that can be configured in IMPACT Standard Admin for the variable "ANNOTATIONBYMOULDSIDECOLUMN": "0" and "1".

In the example below, the column has CIMs inserted in Top and Right side in model view.

When the variable "ANNOTATIONBYMOULDSIDECOLUMN" is set to "0", it means that the element face description of CIMs will be shown in Shop drawing as it is inserted in model.

When the variable is set to "1", it means that the element face description of CIMs will be shown in Shop drawing as the actual placement in Shop drawing.
