With this feature, you have the option to freeze the elevation on the shop drawing. This can be useful if you want to modify the elevation, or if the autogenerated elevation is not 100% correct then you can freeze the elevation and fix it.

Standard admin

First, you have to add a variable to standard admin, that variable defines how you get a warning notification when doing MTO on the shop drawing.

The variable is called NOTIFICATIONFREEZEDRAWINGVIEW and you can read about it here.

In this case, we are using value 2 which is the standard.

Shop drawing

When you open the shop drawing you see this button under the element tab and in the wall section

There you have the option to freeze or thaw the elevation.

When you have frozen or thawed your elevation you will get a notification that it was successfull.

So after you have frozen your elevation now you can make your changes on the elevation geometry lines.

If you press MTO you will be presented with these options

Pressing the Thawandredraw will thaw your elevation and redraw your entire shop drawing.

Pressing the Redraw will redraw your shop drawing but your elevation will be frozen and keep the changes you just made.

Pressing Leave will just leave the command and no changes will be made.

NOTE!
If you use MTO All Materials and Redraw Element button, you will NOT be presented with previous options, and your elevation will be thawed and changed.
