Stair Cast-in Materials is a command that will insert railing CIM, constrained to a specific horizontal and vertical distance from the step. If the stair geometry changes, the CIM will remain in the right place. 

Draw railing Cast-in Materials

The command activates by going to IMPACT tab - Elements section - Stair Cast-in Materials.

The user has the possibility to make the following insertion settings: 

Steps - Write which steps the Cim should be inserted in.  

Horizontal offset - Horizontal placement of the CIM. Refer to the picture in the dialogue window. 

Vertical offset - Vertical placement of the CIM. Refer to the picture in the dialogue window. 

Placement side - choose between right, left or both 

Cast- in Material - define CIM definition that will be inserted.
