Introduction

In IMPACT16 for Revit, there is a new feature available for splitting the walls horizontally. It is now possible to specify the gap where the split of the elements will take place in the model. The new feature in IMPACT for Revit allows the user to insert values for the gap above and below the split breakpoint.

The split of the walls horizontally can be performed in different views, like 3D, elevation and floor plan and the user can select and insert the Top and Bottom endcap in the wall. Moreover, the user can select multiple walls to be split at the same time.

4. The next step is to select the split break point. There are 3 options - by elevation, by wall height from the bottom and by maximum wall height. In this example, we will split the walls by elevation. Once the split break point is selected, press on OK.
