Drawing Category
There is a new Swedish standard for drawings called SS 32209>2022 (sv). This standard has new requirements regarding drawing status and drawing types that request changes in the IMPACT Setup.
In the example below you can see an example of a Swedish drawing panel when it’s changed to fulfill the standard requirements.
The big change is that one part of what we have called Drawing Status in IMPACT (Building Drawing and As-Built…) has been exchanged to be called Drawing type instead.
Instead, the drawings will be called Production drawing ("Tillverkningshandling” in Swedish) and keep that type from beginning of the process all way to As Built (“Relationshandling” in Swedish).
Then the drawings in addition also have Drawing Status that is more like For Information (“För information” in Swedish), Preliminary (“Preliminär in Swedish), Review (“För granskning” in Swedish) and Approved (“Godkänd” in Swedish).
Because of this massive change to the information flow will there be changes to many different IMPACT applications.
Standard Admin
In standard admin is there added a new note called "Category under "Drawings". Here is it possible to add the "Drawing Categories" that are needed.
The "Category Type" only contains "None" for now.
Project Manager
In the Drawing tab have "Drawing Category" been added as a column. This allows the users to see the "Drawing Categorty" of all the drawing in the grid. Futhermore is it also possible to see the "Drawing Category" in the "Drawing properties".
Because of the extra information needed on the drawings are the "Drawing text" also expanded from 6 fields to 9 fields so there is added text 7, 8 and 9.
Both the "Drawing Category" and text 7,8 and 9 is also added in the Drawing Properties.
IMPACT For CAD
In IMPACT for CAD are the following attributes added so it is possible to get the new information shown on the drawing:
- DRAWING_CATEGORY_NAME
- DRAWING_CATEGORY_DESCRIPTION
- DRAWING_TEXT_7
- DRAWING_TEXT_8
- DRAWING_TEXT_9
- LAST_REVISION_TEXT
Another change is when approving a drawing (when drawings status type=Building) the user sets the approved date, this date will be updated to the latest revision date when the status type=Building and a revision is added.

IMPACT for Revit
The following parameters are added:
- IMPACT Drawing Category Name
- IMPACT Drawing Category Description
- IMPACT Drawing Text 7
- IMPACT Drawing Text 8
- IMPACT Drawing Text 9
- IMPACT Drawing Last Revision Text
Just like IMPACT for CAD will the Approved date also be updated to the latest revision date.
Report Tool
The following fields are added to the "Continuous" in the report "Table of Drawings":
- DRAWING_CATEGORY_NAME
- DRAWING_CATEGORY_DESCRIPTION
