Changing SQL Version on an existing IMPACT Database

To ensure that the IMPACT database is compatible with the newest versions of IMPACT Service Configuration tool it is important that the database gets upgraded with the newest SQL version from time to time.

When the newest SQL Server / SQL Express Server is installed and the IMPACT Database is restored - Right-click on the database and choose Properties.

In the Properties dialog choose "Options" and then change the "Compatibility level" to the newest version available.

By doing this it ensures that the IMPACT Service configuration tool can do future migrations.
