Colors on Cast in materials and the dimension line on the shop drawing for cast in materials depending on CIM group.
Selecting a color (RGB or a color index, Red set to 1-255 and Green and Blue to set to -1) to your cast-in material groups.
The cast-in material will be drawn and dimensioned with that color in the element’s main view on the shop drawing.
Note, cast-in materials and dimension blocks must be created with their entity’s color set to “By Block” for it to work.
Note you will need to know that the cast in materials needs to have their entity's color set to "ByBlock" for it to work.
To help with this we have made two new commands that the administrator that does the work with the cast in material blocks can call upon.
Command “Set Color to ByBlock” that allows you to change the color for all entities in selected files to “ByBlock”.
“Set Color to ByLayer” that allows you to change the color for all entities in selected files to “ByLayer”.
Note: You will also need to change the colors of the blocks below to make them show in the same color as the dimension lines. The picture below is showing how it looks when the blocks are not changed. The example will be about the block _uposnrb which can be read more about below.
The blocks that are affected are shown below, some of them have an article attached to them:
